Verify scoring inputs
Confirm issue tags, effect direction, and magnitude before they feed a score.
Confirm diverged flags
Check stated positions and “diverged from platform” flags against the record.
Audit provenance
Make sure every claim traces to its cited source — no orphan numbers.
Who we recruit
- People comfortable reading legislative text.
- Reviewers across the full spectrum — left, center, and right.
- Anyone who will hold neutrality above their own opinion.
- Students, faculty, and practitioners in policy and law (welcome, not required).
The commitment
- ~2–4 hours / week
- Coder protocol to a high reliability bar
- One semester, renewable
- Listed (anonymized) in the public cohort
