Northern Border Security Enhancement and Review Act
This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to conduct a security threat analysis of the U.S.–Canada border every two years starting in September 2026. Following each review, the department must update its northern border strategy and provide classified threat briefings to Congress. Additionally, within six months of enactment, border officials must establish specific performance measures to evaluate how effectively air and water patrols secure the northern border between official ports of entry.
