No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2025
This bill prohibits individuals and small businesses from using federal health insurance tax credits to purchase plans that cover abortion, except in narrow circumstances such as medical emergencies. People and employers would still be allowed to buy plans with abortion coverage or separate riders, but they would have to pay the full cost out of pocket. Additionally, insurers on health exchanges would be required to clearly disclose whether a plan covers abortion in all marketing, comparison tools, and enrollment materials.
