SBA Artificial Intelligence Utilization Act of 2026
This bill requires the Small Business Administration (SBA) to regularly report to Congress on its use of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The agency must analyze both the benefits and the risks of using AI in its operations, including ensuring that human employees remain in charge of major decisions. Starting within 90 days of enactment and continuing annually, the SBA must also brief lawmakers on whether its AI tools are genuinely improving customer service and worth the investment.
